Privacy Policy

Version 2.0 · Last updated 11 August 2026

Advant IT Solutions — a brand operated by Unizon Inc.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Unizon Inc., operating the Advant IT Solutions brand (“Advant,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects information when you visit advantny.com, submit a form, purchase services, or work with us on a website project.

Advant provides website design, development, hosting and related technology services from New York, USA.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

2a. Information you provide

When you submit an enquiry, order, payment or Business Details form, we may collect:

  • Name and business name.
  • Email address, telephone number, WhatsApp number and other contact information.
  • Business address, service areas, hours and website/domain information.
  • Package selection, order details, transaction identifiers and billing-related records.
  • Business descriptions, services, license or registration information, insurance/bonding statements and other information you ask us to display.
  • Logos, photographs, videos, reviews, testimonials, documents and other project files you submit.
  • Communications, revision requests, approvals, support requests and other correspondence.

2b. Payment information

Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Your full payment-card number is entered into the processor’s systems and is not stored by us. We may receive transaction status, amount, date, payer details, transaction identifiers and limited payment information needed for accounting, support and fraud prevention.

2c. Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting, security and analytics technologies may automatically process information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, date/time, approximate location derived from IP, and security or diagnostic information.

Our website may use providers such as Cloudflare for traffic delivery and security and Google services for functions such as fonts, analytics, Search Console or other website tools. The exact technologies in use may change as we maintain the site.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, forms, preferences and analytics. We do not currently use information collected through this website to sell personal information or for third-party behavioral advertising.

If we introduce advertising, retargeting or other materially different tracking practices, we will update this Policy and, where appropriate, provide corresponding privacy choices or consent controls. Privacy controls and disclosures should accurately reflect the technologies actually operating on the site.

4. How we use information

We use information for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Responding to enquiries and communicating about requested services.
  • Preparing quotes and providing checkout, payment and onboarding forms.
  • Designing, building, launching, hosting, maintaining and supporting customer websites.
  • Registering or managing domains and configuring hosting, DNS, email-related records and website services when requested.
  • Creating and maintaining project, transaction, accounting and tax records.
  • Sending service communications such as project updates, renewal reminders, hosting notices and security information.
  • Protecting our website, systems, customers and business against fraud, abuse, security threats and technical failures.
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
  • Complying with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and law-enforcement obligations.

5. Marketing communications

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically enroll you in unrelated promotional marketing. We may contact you about the enquiry, quote, order or services you requested. If we later offer optional marketing communications, you may unsubscribe using the method provided in those communications.

Service-related messages — such as hosting notices, renewal reminders, security alerts, payment records and project communications — are not promotional marketing and may continue while needed to provide or administer your services.

6. When we disclose information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information to service providers and other parties only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Form and workflow providers, including Jotform or similar services used to receive enquiries, orders and project information.
  • Payment processors, including Stripe or similar providers.
  • Website hosting, security, content-delivery and backup providers.
  • Domain registrars and DNS providers when registering or managing a domain.
  • Email, messaging and communications providers.
  • Google and other website/analytics providers used for services such as Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile or fonts.
  • Contractors or service providers who assist us with a project and need the information to perform their assigned work, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security expectations.
  • Accountants, attorneys, insurers and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
  • Government authorities, courts or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems or property.

7. Domain registration

If we register or manage a domain for you, the domain registrar may require registrant contact information. We use registration privacy or proxy services where available and appropriate, but registrar and registry requirements are controlled by third parties and may change.

8. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. Measures may include HTTPS, access controls, limited project access, security monitoring, backups and multi-factor authentication where supported.

New York’s SHIELD Act requires businesses maintaining New Yorkers’ private information to use reasonable safeguards. No security system can eliminate all risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers or other highly sensitive information through ordinary enquiry fields, email or WhatsApp unless we specifically provide a secure method for that purpose.

9. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations.

As a general operating practice, enquiries that do not become projects may be deleted or anonymized within approximately twelve months. Project, contract, transaction and invoice records may be retained for approximately seven years or longer where reasonably required by law, an active dispute or another legitimate business need. Project files and website backups may be retained during the hosting relationship and for a limited period afterward for backup, migration, security or recovery purposes.

Copies may remain temporarily in routine backups after deletion from active systems until those backups cycle out.

10. Your privacy choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable period and will explain if we cannot fulfill all or part of a request because information must be retained for legal, tax, security, contractual or other legitimate purposes.

These voluntary request procedures do not create privacy rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

11. Data incidents and New York residents

If we discover a security incident involving information for which notification is required by applicable law, we will provide legally required notices. New York’s data-breach laws and SHIELD Act include requirements concerning reasonable safeguards and notification when specified private information is compromised.

12. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, contact us and we will review the request and delete the information where appropriate.

13. Third-party websites and services

Our website may link to government resources, customer websites, social-media platforms and other third-party websites or services. We do not control those parties’ privacy or security practices. Their own privacy policies and terms apply when you interact with them.

14. Information submitted for a customer’s website

When a customer provides information about other people for publication or use on a website — such as employee biographies, customer testimonials, photographs or contact information — the customer is responsible for having the authority or permission necessary to provide and use that information. We process such information to perform the requested website services.

15. Business transfers

If Unizon Inc. or the Advant IT Solutions business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, providers, website technologies or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle information for existing customers, we may also provide notice by email or another reasonable method.
